Personalize golf head covers and bag?

Where can I get the head covers and golf bag customize. Like write my name or a logo on bag and head covers .Any one knows where in bay area ca can I get it done and how much will it cost or atleast a guess. If any one got it done please share .

Having a personalized bag and headcovers can be done by a variety of bag manufacturers and importers. Costs all depend on the following:

1. Type and design of bag from small carry bag to full size pro staff bag such as you see on tour. Tour bags however, are built to withstand extreme use and even to be able to support the weight of a players sitting on the bag as well as other inductrial strength components, zippers, pocket liners etc.

2. An 11 inch staff bag costs about $300 w/o headcovers. Whether you embroider the bag or sild screen it makes a huge difference in costs.

3. Embroidery demands art work which in turn they make a tape. The one time charge is between $50 to $150 PER ELEMENT.

4. Stich count is estimated as is the number or area where you want the logo(s) to be embroidered. Your cost is calculated in this manner.

5. Manufacturer will detail for you the max size of embroidery per area. For example the side of the bag can be quite large then every poscket, shoulder strap, collar even the bottom of the bag can be used.

By the end of the day a world class embroidered bag with headcovers to match will run $600 to $1000.

If you are not a tour player or want to seriously advertise yourself or your company then Google “custome golf bags”. If there is a college near you call the A.D.s department for who they may use for the golf teams’s bags. These are carry bags with a mix of silk screening and embroidery and you can call the manufacturer for other options.

Lastly pick up the bag of your choice with a smooth vinyl exterior. Go to one of those sign shops and they can just about make anything out of the computer software and have “canned” art from which you can choose. If you choose a nylon, PVC or other material a local embroidery shop can embroider any area which fits into a hoop used to maintain a flat surface and fit into the sewing machine. As a joke, in one tournamnet I went to a sign painter and had the bag hand painted. It lasted about two seasons until the paint cracked at the sreases.

Go the cheap route if you’re not real good player. Your buddies are going to bust your chops.
