Buying A New Golf Clubs Set

Is Top-Flite Tour Edition 17-pc Golf Club Set good for a new beginner?

I have practiced golf for 1 year. I can hit golf ball for 170 yard distance with my old #5 club, when I have a good shot. I like to buy a new golf club sets around $300 for myself. I have 5 selections as below so far
1. Top-Flite Tour Edition 17-pc Golf Club Set
2. Top-Flite D2 11 Piece Set Set
3. RAM Men’s Accubar MXS 18pc Boxed Set
4. Dunlop Men’s T.D. Plus 17 Piece Set
5. Dunlop EXD Men’s Golf Set, 16-pc

can anyone tell me which one is the best from above selections or any other suggestion?

Thanks…..
Thanks for helpful info…
I need to buy one during this discounting period.
I hope can receive more comments…. To buy a new club sets is a difficult decision for every new beginner…
I can not find the review for the the first one,the tour editions one…did anyone bought it before? Or known where to find the review of it? I can not even find it in the supplier’s web site…
Thanks…

Your first choice, the Top-Flite Tour edition should be good for you. Little known but the clubs are made by Callaway, which has been known for years to make good clubs for begginers.

I agree with the other gentleman that a putter upgrade should be made. Try the two ball odyessy putter, it really helps with alignment.

I do not think you will find too many reviews for these clubs. They do not have a big enough share in the market to warrent it from the big reviewers. Don’t let it bother you though, You are starting out and not throwing away the bank to purchase a set of clubs, if you continue to enjoy the game, I suggest you go get speced out to purchase your second set, it will cost you 200 to 400 more, but at least you will never have to ask if its the “indian or the arrow,” you know you will have a straight arrow.

Good hitting
